  1. Vw t2 bay window campervan
    Tax exempt bus
1972 crossover made for 1 year only, making it a very desirable van
It has the low light front of an prototype bay, with the tall back lights of the late bay. 1600 engine. Early Devon interior, the van also has the Dormobile roof with windows in it
Van runs well with just under 70,000miles.
This is a lovely looking savannah beige bay that has been under going a renovation for the last few years, with all new window doors & roof rubbers & seals. It has had a lot of money spent on it. Its a good solid van that looks fantastic with a lot of original features
    Mot'd February
    £10,900

  4. Cheers, I think you either love it or hate it. I've lowered the price a couple of times if I keep going, I'm gonna end up paying to get somebody to take it

  5. Where are you advertising it? If its a similar write up to this then suggest you put up some details like engine size, mot details etc. Looks nice to me but its very.....b.eige

  6. Yeah your right, if it was half & half it would be lovely but I think the colour is putting people off. Not getting many viewers & what I do get are walking away I put it down to the colour & interior. Personally I think it's a really nice van I love the old Devon stuff too but maybe having the Dormobiile roof makes it a bit of a mongrel

Colour is spot on but roof and poptop would be better white, looks a lovely bus to me , have faith, add pics of engine bay and underneath, 're photo on a sunny day roof up and bed down in a rural location , sell the dream. Stick it on eBay for £13k

  10. ..... and , just to be totally frivolous , pics of the lovely drawers behind the rear hatch ....

Don`t dispair about the colour by the way , @1973daisy has the same colour and is always taking wedding bookings so it can`t be that bad .
As @Flakey says , take some sunny pictures and sell the dream !

Somebody has just driven away a bargain

  14. Yeah I know mate but the market for them up here in Scotland is not quite as it is down south. It's no as easy to get the real value. Smaller market up here I suppose

  17. The strange thing about this post! At the beginning of the description I tried to write crossover, but the auto correct took it upon itself to change that to 'Crossdresser' but nobody noticed. I only noticed myself today
