Dashboard wiring problems

Hi folks,
Just asking if anyone can advise about headlamp wiring and lighting up side marker lights (Bob the Bus is a LHD Westy, built June 73) . At the moment the side markers are not wired up but from assorted loose wires in the cab doors I suspect they used to be..
The headlight switch, which is marked VW has 8 terminals, 2 marked 57, 4x58 and 3x30, which doesn't seem to correspond with the images I've seen on-line.

Any suggestions gratefully received.

cab door markers are usually just reflectors, no factory wiring for them

 

Ah! Thanks David, Does the same apply to the rear red side ones?

 

no the rears are wired in, grey wire link from the adjacent side light and earth
