    Zed Gradually getting grumpier

Looks great, I don't think it would have looked good yellow like the van. Just need to paint the van to match now.

Waiting to hear from Perry. Was going to be this week, but we're running out of time :(

It'll be worth the wait I'm sure.

  4. Have you got it yet?

    Nope :(
It was in road testing on Thursday - needs an MOT as well, so that may add a day or so. I'm away from tomorrow until Thursday so I guess it's going to be the end of the week - again ....

  10. I was going to get black but maybe boring

  11. that would probably work well with the colour of your bus

  12. Is that in the single cab bern??

No - single cab is going to Fellows. They are buying that and I get an engine for my bus, plus a cash balance.

  15. Thanks - I will be checking this before I leave! Having spent so long on the dark side I don't want to go back in the light.

Well - just had Cherished on the phone. I'd just renewed my insurance so let them know about the new engine.
They wanted an invoice and engine number, as I said before. I had a phone call to check if I wanted to change my valuation. I said no.
    Next phone call - increase premium....by 50%
    :eek::eek::eek:
Just paid up £77 squid cos they have me over a barrel and my premium is cheap to start with, but that is a cautionary tale :(

  18. did they try to justify this in any way or was it take it or leave it?

First conversation suggested that it was an 'expensive' conversion. I pointed out that I had not asked for an increase in valuation.
Went away for a chat, came back and said it's due to power increase.

I was with Cherished when I did mine and they didn't do that. Must have changed their criteria since I used them.
