I went for the day, then camped on a campsite bout 15 mins away. I had a good day, bought some stuff I didn't need or want ( wife wanted a camping table) but I do like to visit Busfest. Not much for staying though....prefer the quiet life.
We did that a couple of years ago as left it too late for camping tickets. Also figured we would quite like to be on a quiet camp site at a pub site and pub good - apart from the landlord/lady's mate who were very loud and spent the whole time extolling the virtues of UKIP, and some bizarre beliefs such as all immigrants are Muslims, and they're all terrorists! A shame really as it was nice camp site and our camp site neighbours were v nice. We left a day early tho as it made drinking at the bar not relaxing for me. We managed to buy stuff at busfest we didn't really need before we left tho including a small awning as i had left the poles at home for the one we took
Went busfest - had a great time as per every year. Really good show, good people and polite staff although not sure on the fire show..If anyone watched it? Cant wait for next year.
