    I'm about tomorrow - can't do anything just now sadly.

  3. While waiting I've cleaned points and reset, still turns over but no go.

    Rac man said they were sparking on one side but not the other, that make sense?

    New points fix that?

    Or has the engine had enough cos it was running like bag of poop

    On recovery truck now anyway

    I just had a condenser that decided to give up at high temperature.
    And a reminder that you can do a get you home if you grind the carburettor fuel metering needle valve into its seat with valve grinding paste or toothpaste...

    When you get there, see if they have room for me for a night or two and I'll come over with points and for a walk up Kinder. Tell them it's the green one from earlier in the year, they like me (hopefully). :)

  15. Haha busted!

    Had a mini nervous breakdown with the children, been sent out to walk dog:mad::(:oops:
    If only my laid back attitude with my van extended to my kids. Struggling really.

    Installed at hayfield courtesy of recovery, nice chap.at site kept a "recovery friendly pitch* for us.

    Thank you for any offers of help, I'll try new points, but probably the 3cyls and crap running is overheating it and etc...

    @zedders I'll check in morn if he has spare pitch , I'll pay If he has

    @bernjb56 @Flakey , cheers any help appreciated ,

    I expected to breakdown though so don't go out of your way , I deserve it ! Knew I was on borrowed time
