VERY RARE 1978 VW CAMPER LANDMARK CONVERSION.....

  5. yeah it has a spare wheel there, I keep it down as since I'm not driving I have to charge the batterys frequently.

  6. yeah will keep the interior, need to sort out curtains ans the cushions for the bad as have none, what are yours like and are they original ?

    Yes mine the originals. A bit scruffy and the bed saggy. I've got the seperate (grubby) mattress too.
     
  8. Do you have any pictures as I need to get all mine made from scratch, curtins look like the back and slider clip on plus there seems to be a place for one across the cab ?

    Here are a couple of photos from our 1st night camping in the van! I'm afraid on the 2nd one I'm blocking the view a bit but you can just make out cab curtains :)

    15 mins for a cuppa..
    15 mins leaving the penetrating oil to soak
    15 mins to gather correct sockets and spanners (inc fag break)
    15 mins to swap right hand side.

    repeat process for the left hand side, excluding gathering tools but including the guy telling you about Porsche motors fitting and his parents owning splitties back in'th day

    :lol:

    at least that's what its like when we do anything down in the unit :D

  19. first time ive seen the original curtains ,,i think..good reference...suede cloth it says too.
    And look " Your fun starts right away !":confused: But not these busses,,,
