My one actually is bent, and makes adjustment a pig. If yours is a spare, pm me and let me know what I can give you for it. I have been looking for new ones, but not sure what to get, most of what I can find is weber related.
Passed. And so it should. Emissions are not actually logged on the MOT system. So it can be passed whether it fails emissions or not. It just depends if the person doing the test feels like being a knob or feels like helping you out.
hydrocarbons 2000, instead of the previous level of 12,000. To be honest the previous level is a bit unbelievable
So the basic interior is almost ready to be puled out and finished. This bus will sleep 4 so there is no cooking/sink facilities. Im over all that, cooking in a camper is old news for me. So i made a rock and roll bed, bigger/longer than standard, big space underneath too. Also mad a bench seat behind drivers seats for another bed. And there will be a cab bunk for the 4th place. Some photos below, just in basic fitting mode at moment, then i will be edge banding (edge veneer) and using an Acrylic clear 2 part lacquer. The rnr bed still needs the underside supports fitting for when it is in the bed position, and these locate in the slots in the bed front. The bench seat houses the Combicool 1600, and the funny looking box in the corner of that bed, is to allow a bit of ventilation, and also for access to the knobs for temp control at all times. The gap in front of the box is so the seat can lift up, and clear the box without binding, literally about 50mm gap. Upholsterer has been found, one person quoted me a grand, then i found this old boy local to me who has been upholstering since 1970 and he is going to do all 4 cushions, in beige leatherette, including foam and fluting with black piping (like front seats) for about £350.00. His lead time is 3 weeks, so if i get the template done for over the engine bay today, i can drop it all up to him and hopefully be upholstered and re-fitted before Tekenders. Heres the pics. The wood is real Walnut Veneer.
