I've only been once, I was blown away by how bright green it is. It's not called the Emerald Isle for nothing is it?
Have you got a heater in your van? Or are you covering yourself in bear grease like the Revenant? (Which I saw last night and thought was amazing).
Convector heater. The lightweight Caravanners who came early for the weekend have gone home. Makes me laugh, it's really warm this evening.
I always worry about that just in case people sit through all 2+hours of it cursing me! I can see why some people thought it was slow and too long but it held me all the way. And it stayed with me - I felt cold all night! I think the trick is NOT to read all the spoiler stories about 'how did they do that?' and just go with. I took a hip flask of wine with me too (tch!) which always helps suspend disbelief I find. Another good indication that it was a good film was not hearing a pin drop from the audience. No popcorn crunching or rustly bags of over-salted tortilla chips. Just the faint squeak of my flask unscrewing!
Oh good. I was cold all night last night (see above!) and the thought of you shivering in your fan crossed my mind! Just don't let any grizzly bears in if they come knocking, that's my advice.
Blimey, snow? Yesterday was really nice down in the Derbyshire Dales till about 3.30pm then it rained. This morning it was sunny heading over past Chatsworth to Sheffield, over the hill was really nice. Sheffield went dull around 11.45am, I reckon @Merlin Cat was up to summat
Well tonight have honestly only just put the fire on. Must have hardened up living in a draughty old house.
I watched it last night too. Ive only just started feeling warm! Was enthralled but disapointed as it ended up being a bit predictable.
maybe it was'nt the cold ,it was because there was a weirdo in the field... I'd go to Scotland to see some snow...
Found a bad crimped terminal on the eber thermostat so that's fixed. Moved the tie-back and added a springy wire to hold the slider curtain back. Just the louvres to sort for now.
... Apart from this. This is the inside of my head banger cupboard. I should have listened to @vanorak ( I expect) I have a condensation problem on the inside of my tin roof. I did downstairs with 10mm thick stick on closed cell foam and found a supplier a couple of miles away. £10/sqm which sounds a lot but probably quite cheap? I guessed 4sqm would be plenty, if I have some left over I'm sure I'll find somewhere to stick it.
