Right! Garage now has a concrete floor, insulation, electrics and is now fully lined. I've even bought a heater and a kettle....so no excuses now! Chilli came back home today after a trip to the coach works for a good polishing and is in his new home looking sexy!

    Quick update
Rear suspension all stripped out and now back from the powdercoaters and slowly going back in.
Gearbox out and on the bench with new seals ordered.
Cab doors have had new winder mechs, felts and seals fitted.
Silent coat nearly all fitted inside doors and front panel, just waiting for another box to arrive...
Petrol tank out and all breather pipes fitted with new hose and clamps.
Wheels have tyres fitted and have eventually managed to source the correct sleeved nuts so are good to go!
Rustbusters epoxy mastic applied to body above gearbox and then painted body colour ready for gearbox to go back in.

    Getting there...

Will post up some pics when I get a bit more time

fitted 'genuine' winder mechs from Heritage to both cab doors...
the RHS was crap quality whilst the LHS was pretty good!
bought some grommets for the door cards from JK but they are way too big even tho I bought the 6mm ones...
im guessing ill have to send them back and try sourcing them elsewhere..

  15. Where did you buy your rear brake backing plates from?

from JK..genuine ones but the paint or powder coat on them was a bit rubbish so had them blasted and powder coated...come out really nice. ill post some pics when I get the hub and rear brakes on.

I like the wheel choice; different! Goes well with Tiaga Green though
