Is this wired correctly? Ignore wire gauge it's just for ease of illustration.
Feed "in" from site on the right.
Feed "out" to sockets on left.
I've made provision for 3 seperate circuits.
    6a for my charger.
10a for an exterior feed for awning.
    16a for inside the van.

Obviously for illustration only one is shown.

Best safe than sorry so thought best to ask.
    Cheers.

  3. Yep, looks fine if you've got the bus bar in place at the bottom.

  5. Switches look in the "off" position, so won't work like that.

Ah ok, guess I'd have worked that out once it's live.

  15. Is this going in your van? If so, you need an additional thick earth cable from the earth busbar to the body of the van. Then you're sorted.

  16. 4mm will be fine to chassis. Incidentally your mcbs are single pole. Should be double pole. If were counting that is. Wire in flex, not twin and earth btw., clip cables where poss and dont run adjacent to 12 volt.

yes, and yes i know the earth thing.
what do you mean by double pole? are these not safe then?

  18. I was going to buy the extreme van kit which has single pole mcb should I be looking for one with double pole?
    Sorry to thread Jack, Rick.

  19. More a case of not compliant. Double pole are safer than single pole.
