Anyone looking for that bargain bus? I've had this sat in the bodyshop now awaiting paintwork but I always bump it from the queue with another job or some quicker work. All it has ever done is go in and out of the workshop every day to make space, now the gears are playing up - I've taken a quick look at the dipstick and the fluid is overfilled so most likely just that as no fluid also has the same effect...it won't be anything big & even if it were it is still up for grabs for peanuts!! You will need new tyres as it has rollers for the bodyshop. Anyway....I'm busy with a pending house move and sale, I'm trying to clear space, I have more work lined up which needs to be finished before I go and have come to the conclusion that this lovely van will still be sat there or at least not finished by the time I move. I am moving nearly 200miles so not just a local jaunt. I've been shifting and clearing out lots of stuff, I don't intend to take any vehicles other than my own private VW's. This is now on eBay with a reserve which would usually only buy you a rusty bus or even a project. I stand potentially to make a big loss so someone will be pleased with this Viewing welcome, you will see how decent it is that way. It is now on eBay with a reserve set for thousands less than originally advertised. If you paste this number into the search box you will find the ad. 231809836534 Viewing in Kent. 07805 827760 'My original ad' 1973 pop top westy - automatic, lots of history - which is unusual. (I love a '73!) Superb interior, new pop top canvas, engine etc. Drives really nicely - 1700cc has dual 40 weber idf carbs and runs great. The bus is extremely straight, no accidents or dints, lods of og paint, it has seen some paint tidying in places. Prior to my ownership. This bus with the condition of the overall body and interior, with a re paint will fetch easily £15k +, maybe considerably more. Bumper was removed for shipping, and the front roof section is just dirty, a pressure wash should sort it out . I've had the sills replaced, other than that it is a totally solid bus with exception for some corrosion on the sliding door. It is MOT'd, uk registered. I need to get some new tyres which I'll do for the sale. price is as is for a good honest camper which you can use £11495 (It is on eBay with a reserve set for rusty van money) 07805 827760 Located in Canterbury Kent

Yes, totally agree - I thought if I wrote the ad with contact details it was ok to put a link and might be helpful to LB members to find a bargain bus. I guess I can be pm'd if there's any interest
its a silly rule. You should be allowed to put the ebay number up, so long as you have all the relevant for sale info on the actual thread.
Yes - was under the impression that was ok - I've seen people just put 'link click here' - never mind I guess if anyone is in the market for a good van it will be found.
There's been a few eBay links which have simply been redirected to different websites or contains virus. Though it is a bit hit and miss which ones get pulled. I thought eBay numbers were ok just not the links
@dog or @hailfrank can you give me a steer on this please? I'm selling a van, actually advertised on here but I'm just letting it go for the highest bidder. I would like to point users here in the direction of where to find it if possibly interested. It's a genuine sale, no funny business and if the rules mean I'm not allowed to do this then rather than have links to youtube music put in my ad I'll happily take it down - it really makes no odds
If you wish to buy it then simply contact the vendor! @hailfrank needs to have the last word on this as he made the rule
