to be fair you probably are but all this has been rammed down our throats all day and none of our opinions will count one bit and most of us don't understand politics or even care about them, i voted no war but then again i voted no conservative government so what do i know.......

You and I are on opposite sides of the fence when it comes to politics but I do agree with your view of a coalition ground army going in supported by air strikes

  8. This is why I have also voted no. There's no plan, just a hope of doing something will be better than doing nothing and that we are seen as doing something so others think we are playing nice.

Whatever extra bombs we are going to be dropping why don't we drop them in Iraq where we are already dropping bombs and therefore are still dropping bombs on the same group as we would be dropping bombs on in Syria as they don't see borders so we are dropping bombs on the south of where they are, France continue dropping bombs on the north, Russia continue dropping their bombs on the east and then the US can drop bombs on the west so we are all dropping bombs and are therefore good.

  12. Not In parliament it seems. If You disagree with dave you are a terrorist.

If cameron loses then that makes the house terrorists. Will he resign. He should anyway.

Cameron just likes the sound of his own voice and "winning" debates hich he learned to do at school. I don't think he has a clue, he just wants to look tough rather than weak. You can see why he declared he'd be off after 1 term, he knows he's not up to it.
You don't have to like him or take any note of his views. His reason for existance is not to lead, but represent democratically (I hope). Thus his personal views are irrelevant.

I'm not going to get into a slanging match, we could go on all night, at the end of the day you have your views I have mine,

  16. Arms manufactures will surely benefit as will the shareholders / directors .Oil company's have a vested interest . But in the back if my mind is the thought that doing nothing is nit an option ,who was it that said Hitler will never be a problem, and we really took our time to get on his case .

  17. I'm afraid a day of debates is just part of the political pantomime ... they have already made their minds up. I just pray ... if that's not too religious for Dicky ... for the safety of the young people who get sent to do the politicians dirty work. And then I pray we never send our own ground troops into the bloody mess once it becomes apparent, if it wasn't already, that bombing alone will achieve the square root of FA.

The only reason we're doing this first is it's considered politically correct not to send ground forces after the last 2 esapades they've been sent on. In a while we will hear "it's not working, we need to send in the troops". After Christmas. Can't spoil the lad's Christmas (again). What what?

  19. Cameron mentioned. Ground troops more than once today hinting that it will happen

  20. No slanging match. I genuinely believe cameron has crossed the line. Its not a tit for tat argument its a fact. If you believe he is right then say so. If you dont then say so. What is your view?
