Bit of an update, Cab doors fixed and primed Insides painted white Slider etched and now primed Engine lid now ok after some dodgy paint issues. Tail date primed and inside top coated white. Drivers side and front ready for colour tomorrow
hows the l90d looking, is it creamy or a bright white. good job you've sorted your paint problems out...
we were talking about colours last night and said the creamy l90d would go with light brown and savannah but wendy likes Ferrari fly yellow which I think a brighter white is needed. I suppose any bright white would do (ford diamond) but then the inside would need doing aswell.
What's yours now? Thought it was yellow and white already, but definitely brighter white with yellow!
it is sort of, some bits need doing but its a custom mixed colour which I have tried to have matched but no luck. I've chopped a bit of metal off and thinking of sending it to brighton auto who say thay can match it. if they can I will keep it as is for now but thinking ahead a full respray might be better. I like the colour as it is, wendy doesn't but I also like classic muted colours. I've never sprayed a whole car before but I give it a shot..
I know , I have nearly finished the pickup in a tent at the side of the house at the same time though!
Colour doesn't look anything like this, but happy with the finish, just got to turn it round tomorrow to do other side and rear!
that's coming along nicely. it'll soon be done!! I'm working on wendy to see if I can have her shed (just under 20'x10') that she has her rabbits in, I want to put my lathe and other stuff in it. that will meen the camper in the garage would have 3' clear space on all sides. to paint the roof though I think I'd have to take the wheels off and drop it as low as it will go on stands.
Sounds good, get the rabbits out , mines 18" longer than the bus, just about able to get the gun far enough away from the front panel and have to be dead careful not to brush against it!
she doesn't let me look after her pets that much....... I have been a good boy recently though, I just built her a 15'x6' walk in chicken coup,,, method in my madness.
