Refitted my rocker cover using the string trick and it was so much more easier to do. Even better I've just been out for a test drive of about 7 miles some and a duel carriage way giving it some wellie and the rest around town and when I got back I didn't need to run to get the oil drip or in some cases peeing tray. Tomorrow will tell cos I'm taking iron a test drive too France. Thank you.
Just so others don't feel left out, there are loads off other god and goddesses on here, I find it friendly and helpful and most questions are answered with respect, understanding that some people like me don't have a clue and just like to have things confirmed. Asked a question on another site yesterday about wheel nut torque settings and I've not had one reply. Won't mention the site but I drive a split screen. Think I'll ask the question on here to see if I get a response.
Bentley Manual states between 80 & 94 ft/lbs or lbs/ft This was gleamed from the split screen club dude , its for the rear wheels , i say do them up as tight as you can with a breaker bar , don't snap the nut stud though was your question posted on vzi if so i think i saw it --
