Yeah stitches but he was lucky, happened yesterday and as the paramedics opened his finger so I could see I tried to get a pic but I felt a little ill lol so no pic.
it was a knife he was using a knife to take the wrapper off a sharp knife to which he wanted to cut a bit of ribbon off his new sun canopy... undoing the knot would of taken a little while , but not as long as A+E at the princess royal.. dont mention the breakfast Saga....
1 can of beer. Silly me. Only 8 stitches though. Big up Congi and Lola who were still up when I got back at 5am.
Also thanks to Peter Piggle who persuaded me to get it looked at properly, and marched me to the first aid place when I was all for the masking tape/look in a week approach.
I do live in the fens so I was keeping quiet. :- Not majorly happy with the service at Telford I went to my local A&E. Telford - 6 hours and no info regarding nerves other than "it might recover if you're lucky" and nearly got chucked out without treatment for daring to flinch a bit when he stuck the first anasthetic needle. Ely - 0 seconds - straight to reception, explained what I was concerned about, overheard by doc who explained properly (I hope!). Nerves in finger too small for surgery. Nerves grow 1mm per month so in 3-4 years I might regain "some" feeling right alond finger. Or I might not. NHS - it's a lottery and I'm very glad I don't live near Telford.
