How social equality is better in Germany, how workers get paid more and bosses less and how they all more or less have the same type of employment contracts, how they live longer, how there football team is better than ours, how they can build brilliant cars .... I could go on and on, she'll probably not want to mention any of that
^this x2. And how many famous German companies are still family owned. And how they all b*gger off from work at 4:30pm on a Friday and still have a stronger economy than ours. Don't mention British Leyland, Lucas electrics or Hotpoint washing machines. Or BSA motorcycles. Or Austin Metros.
That's the Swiss. If you've got any gold fillings you'd like to sell, they have whole bank vaults full of them from the 1940s...
And how they were advertising recently for apprentice engineers thruout Europe ,, and how if your doc recons u need to see a medical specialist you see one that day ,not 2 years later , also, if you land in their country unemployed ,as I did they immediately get booked onto a German language course, and do not mention Badder-meinhoff rock and roll f**wits (terrorists,) and deff. do not mention Boney M !( o.k. , mention Boney M but promise to report back dude !)
My German exchange partner was a right odd bod. He wore weight lifting trousers all the time. Said cool lots and had a mullet. Oh and kept trying to eat raw bacon cos the pack says it's smoked lol
