Youtube help before I smash my phone

I accidentally pressed the "cast " button in YouTube app. don't have anything to cast to and I don't even want to bloody cast. But now it won't sod off, It won't let me just watch a video like I've been doing all night, it just wants to cast everything but of course it can't because I'm not bloody connected to anything.
Theres nothing to turn cast off, if I Google YouTube cast off, I get videos of bloody knitting that I can't watch.
Please help before I have another mental breakdown.

Delete the app from your device then reload?

 

Won't I loose all my history etc?

Found a ut video on hw to.

 

The hands of time fixed it. Back to normal by itself.

BUT

now the cast button has disappeared , so should I decide I want to cast in the future , I can't.
I blame the whole farce on remain voters

It might have been easier to upload a video of something and then delete the video.

Spooky, I'm having problems with my VHS combination player, it will play VHS tapes but if I put a Betamax tape in it just gets chewed up, and I've got the whole of the love thy neighbour box set to watch, and the golden shot

 

What's a cast button?

 

Don't press it and you should be OK.

Odd, my cassette player's just started chewing up C120s. Any ideas? Also, I can't get "Worker's Playtime" on the tuner any more.

Check the YouTube terms and conditions. They've changed the rules for uploading Asian massage videos. Also, videos of ladies' underwear on washing lines are now limited to 15mins, with no breathing. You'll just have to find another hobby.
