Your van, Male/Female and it's name and why?

even though mrs lowie kept trying to name my 72 bug (BARRY) betsie but my five yr old put her straight

 

Ours is a boy - named after his number plate abw - Arthur after minder (our wedding first dance was to the minder theme) - Barrington was Richard's choice - Wisevan

 

Alex is a boy he was named Alex by the 2 different previous owners.

Mines called bob the bushcraft bus

Its a play on the tla BOB meaning bug out bag and as hes being built as a vehicle to get me away from the madness that is modern life and closer to nature hes a buschcraft bus

You really couldent give a girls name to a nato green bus with bull bars,spot lamps and all terrain tyres

Bobs not like that at the moment but hes still undergoing surgery from when he was shelly

 

Mine arrived wihout a name, and is still a neuter or genderless, I've never driven it, so have yet to be properly aquainted.

I'm often heard calling it a Illegitimate child whilst working on it though ???

 

Vinnie the Van lol

went to look at a burt t25 then another t25 300 miles away and there was vinnie and we fell in love with him ...awe!!!!...though he is rather girlie now!!

 

Our van is Melvyn. Dunno why. That's what the previous owner told us his name was. He lived in Australia before they had him, and started his life working at a childrens home. 8)

 

My van is called Patches because of the weldng it's going to need. Not decided male or female.

The reg on ours starts VNP, I wanted to call it, Vanipy, or Vanipulation, duh only joshing ya, it's a female and it's called Punkin for a few reasons, one, the wonderful colour two, I called my daughter Punkin when she was little , so it's a nice memory name, three, Punkin and Pie for the trailer goes well together, four, the wife picked it and I had no say in the matter ! but I love it anyway ;D

 

Mine is male, OSI after his rego OSI 537 & that's what his previous owners called him.
The late,late bay is female, Wanda The White Wedge, also named by the previous owners.
I like to stick with the name that previous owners have given a vehicle, if they haven't named it then it's up to me.

 

Mine is female & its called Milly not sure why that's what the original owners called her.
My trailer is a eunuch called Vanilly after the disgraced 80's pop band & because it goes well with Milly.

 

Our Bus is called George. We named it after my grandfather George and for Ali its after her grandfather George.

used to be called 'Flippin Bugger Piece of shoot' when it used to break down a lot, guessing its a she!!

the 74 is called fugly for very obvious resons......



again yet to determin the sex of this one. actually as its been mouted by a transit it must be a she as well!!

 

Mine is a male and he's called Logo because of the logo on the side and his pal, the trailer is called Cargo...

 

ours is called olive which was our old vans name too and its female...the wife says its because shes reliable and just gets on with it

Named Sleep Jean, she was given to us by my mum who is called Jean and she sleeps a lot.
