Brought a new repro square port exhaust made, but would like your opinions whether this is worth getting Just Kampers to exchange. The ports are not very well aligned and for £200 was expecting better. Engine is 2.0l stock and deciding whether it would actually cause any problems.
Why don't you phone Justkampers and ask them their opinion on the quality. They are very knowledgeable and I am sure they would appreciate the feedback.
Send it back. It'd probably work, but for 200 notes not acceptable. How hard is it to jig these things up so they fit properly? My stainless exhaust went back twice before we found one that wasn't deformed or had holes in it.
That isn't my experience of them. I have sent loads back and always had a good service. I know some people haven't, but I have to speak as I find.
I just bought an step from them which they say should be fitted to the mounts before fitting to the jacking points. I have done that and now the mounts dont align completely to the jacking points. I will loosen the bolts and try to work them in but if that doesnt work I am going to have to drill a longer hole to give more play. Should I bother or just send it back
The more they get away with selling Marmitee the more they will, It's no more difficult to manufacture correctly!
It would probably work but would impede the exhaust flow ... It is poor I'd return or cut off and do myself
I guess most of their sales are right otherwise they wouldn't be in business. That's an awful lot of getting it right. I only returned things I over ordered and one dodgy step. Never had an issue returning stuff.
