afternoon all, the door at work jammed yesterday. It has been getting steadily worse.
    It is about 10'x10'.
the door has swollen in the wet (it hasnt been treated in yonks) and it binds on the wooden runner on one side (also swollen).
I cannot remove the door due to being mahoosive (the door you cheeky buggers), so with what should i treat it?
I have used silicon spray in the past to free it but it sticks soon after.
It currently has a load of WD40 soaked into it as that is the only thing I had to hand to open the damned thing.

    Now what?

    Thanks in advance

  2. Could you treat it to a trip to the pictures and a nice Indian afterwards?

I believe the usual thing to treat sticking sliding doors with is something called @davidoft. It’s quite smooth and seems to free them up in no time. You can usually pick it up relatively inexpensively, a bacon sandwich or some biscuits is around the right price. It’s been around for quite a while....

Was thinking candle wax. Had heard of that fix.
The problem is I don’t want anything I put on the floor to transfer into the office via shoes etc.

lets walk through this comment by comment.
It’s quite smooth - he used to be smooth; he's a bit rough round the edges now
and seems to free them up in no time - I've seen him use a hammer!!!
You can usually pick it up relatively inexpensively - you mean dirt cheap don't you? dirt, dirt cheap!
It’s been around for quite a while.... - I heard he was one of the older boys @Terrordales looked up to!
