sounds like you have a very viable resto. I miss my 67 and I'm slightly jealous... the door popper is spare. Pm me your address and I'll post it to you.
For being sat in a field for 20 years the chassis spine is perfect its just that bit on the frame head. It was coverd in thick underseal that protected it but the body didn't do to good.
Cut the ends of the Napoleons hat of and started to make new ones .but run out of gas so have to wait for that to be delivered plus a new fuel pipe to go down the spine
Not much to show taking time lot of cutting and grinding to be done on this bug so don' want to upset locales thats the ends finished . Started frame head
Lovely bit of fabrication! Are they not available then, or did you just fancy making them? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
You can buy a complete panel but its £40 plus it's thinner than original . They cost nothing to make and its that bit that I enjoy cheers
Got the bottom 4" of the frame head repaired just need to grind it down then fit the frame bottom panel but its not the best copy will need to modify it a little bit to fit better
No more updates as yes lot of pain and just don't want to get infection as im diabetic so have to be carefull. Hopefully couple of weeks be back up a running. Thanks for asking
