  1. Got abit more sandblasted and painted to day still waiting to get more pics of bus when good weather [​IMG] [​IMG]
     
  2. At last the good weather is here:) so got abit more done and took some pics of how far I got to bottom of her is sandblasted and welded now stone chipped and sprayed [​IMG] [​IMG] [​IMG] plus got some of the running gear on today [​IMG]

  4. Well didn't make it to work today as have bad stomach so need to be near a toilet :( so can't sit all day so got on with the front abit more [​IMG] [​IMG] [​IMG]all so put the dash and top into epoxy primmer then some high build ready for rub down :)

    Awesome work mate, will you adopt my bus for a month or two and work some of your magic on it? Obviously you've moved from Peterborough, where are you now?
     
  8. nice work on the front panel, looks great. it'll almost be a shame to get the underside dirty after all that painting youve done :)

  10. Thanks it's getting there:)but with the bottom painted it will be easy to clean qwick jet wash and should look like new again ;)

  13. OMG what a nice day lovely and warm :)So thought I would do a little bit on the van and put the engine back in [​IMG] [​IMG] [​IMG] hopefully have it running in 2 weeks time as still got to put dash and steering column back with the wiring and see :thinking:

    Every time I see the lip at the bottom edge of the rear arch where it meets the rear corner I want to slice it off! It just doesn't look right, mine is the same both sides and I've contemplated chopping them and seeing this has confirmed they are for the chop!

    I don't know if original buses have them or if it's just part of the replacement panel, anyway mine are going the journey on Monday!

    Keep up the posts, your work is super smashing great.
     
  15. They are ment to be there but this bus I'm trying to get on the road asp:) so didn't bother with them and yes look better with out them ;) cheers for the reply :cheers:

    Zed Gradually getting grumpier

    I'm sure you've thought of it, but don't forget to block up the air intakes when you paint the top half.
     
  17. I will stuff something up the vents from in the engine bay.but I have some window frame's to repair first :( but get it mot ed and on the road first I hope :)but thanks
     
  18. Started on the steering column an bits [​IMG] [​IMG] [​IMG] [​IMG]found the bottom mount was rotten so fixed that just got to rub down bits a paint :) is there suppose to be a bearing in the bottom of the column ????

    The steering box is the lower bearing.
