Why cant we just be satisfied with one van... When I bought the other one from my mate I thought quick turn around and get rid, but its such a solid old bus Ive decided to keep a hold of it and hire it out, but only to family and friends so no big buisness plan just some extra pocket money.. will have to check out insurance and such stuff , so plans are still flexible :)

When you got a good look at this one did decided it was to good to cut up...?

  3. @ redoxide yes you hit the nail on the head, I bought it to brake for the parts I needed, but when I got a close look it's way to good to cut up. And it comes with all the panels to finish so it more time than parts. So its has to be done ha ha

  8.;)Well she's home with me now so this weekend she's going up on the stands to have a good look over, the idea is to just do what's needed to get her on the road. so no paint, no nice stuff, just the littlest bits poss to get mot. ? ? pics this weekend hopefully so this will be the cheapest resto to start with ha ha

  9. :)Well she on the stands, so had a good look under and she solid no rust just some bits that have been replaced already, good job as well so will start on the front panel, as I said before there's all the panels with it its just time and small bits to get mot I think or is that hope [IMG] [IMG] you can see daisy over looking ha ha. Will get some pics of underneath tomorrow if it's dry it's so clean and rust free shame about the rest.

Are you keeping the front early style?

  11. Yes it will be rebuilt to factory standard but paint one day velvet green or savannah beige don't no yet, just get it on the road with minimal amount of work then do a rolling resto.

  12. Well had a good day on her today, as I will be spending time on daisy in evening's and time on poppy at the weekends . I will put on the road rat look for now as I want a van to drive about in till daisies finished . 14. From the skills I've seen of your previous resto thread..

  15. Thanks for the good words but I think just a little bit longer, but at least the underneath is solid but oily so shouldn't take too long

  16. Fair enough.... I'll check back in an hour :D

I think I read you recently moved house? How are nextdoor liking their new bus grinding neighbour?

  18. I know what you mean but I only do a few minutes then find something else to do that's quiet. I'm always careful about noise
