Wiring route

  1. Hi

I need to get some extra 12v sockets inside my bus, I need to route these from the engine bay into the bus, I have belly pans fitted so I was thinking of running them vertically up though the top of engine bay and then behind rear seat? Anyone have a better idea?

  2. In my Devon Moonraker, it's straight up the right hand side from the battery area to inside just under window level, then along to a fuse box in a cupboard.

Not the best pic, but it shows the cable entry.

  3. Cheers I have another look at where I can get my wires?

I like your filing system by the way

  4. Mine are routed via two 10mm holes from battery compartment upwards into recess on the rear inside side panel. The recess goesupwards 6 inchesor so and the runs foward behind the spare wheel.
I used white silicon sealant to coat 2 single cables hold the cables in place, assisted with so lorry drivers tape while it dried.
Worked well and saved using clips.
Mines a full width bed,. If you have a side cupboard then you can hide the wiring easily.

If your bus has a 12v fridge fitted, you could share the cable route for your new electrics. That's what i did for the reversing camera and extra lighting.
