  1. In need to make a fog lamp work-

I have a live, a switched live, earth and then a line to the lamp. Stick that lot through a standard 4 pin relay and ??

I’m a bit dim. Just like my fog lamp.

  2. Yep. A boggo 30A relay will do, although if the switch and cable can handle it, you could get away without a relay. Make sure there’s a fuse in the +ve supply. Also better to run a separate earth cable for the light.

  4. Fog lamp should work though its own switch and only when the side/tail lights are on.
Take a sidelight feed to one side of the switch. The other side of the switch to terminal 85 on the relay. Earth wire to terminal 86 on the relay. A fuse in the live feed wire to terminal 30.
Terminal 87 to the fog lamp
