The main wiring loom passes through multiple holes under the van. Should all of these have grommets fitted? Some of the holes are pressed so don’t have sharp edges and so presumably don’t need grommets?

  2. They never originally had grommets
The loom had a outer plastic sheath and ran inside a section of steel conduit between the front and rear crossmembers

  3. if ye want get a lenght of 2 core flat wire cut open take wire out ,use the outer sheth to go round edges of holes looks very neat and tidy

  4. Don`t think there`s any grommets from the factory , just the plastic sheath . I wrapped a good few turns of black duct tape around the loom where it looks like it might chaffe ...

Cheers guys. I’ve got some grommets that’ll fit the cross members as I’m fitting convoluted tubing between them. I’ll leave the rest as is.
