What's the issue. Sometimes earlier motors get fitted when the original breaks. I've got wire colour conversions if that's what you need.

  9. Thanks mark it sounds like it's been changed I'm at the van tomorrow so will find out the wires . I think there is no plug but can't be sure will up date tomorrow evening thanks for the help

Take a photo if you can and note the wire colours from the motor and the wires from the loom.

  11. Ok been and looked at the wiring and it looks as if someone has replaced the motor and all wires are the same colour. Also there is a cross shape connection so all the wires have spade connectors on .
Please tell me if someone can help it has my head in hands
    Thanks simon

That will be for the slower wiper speed setting....it will take longer for the electricity to get there.
    Obvious really.

  15. I'm not looking to pull apart . I'm look at getting these to work so the question is can anyone help with what goes where

  16. Would be helpful to have clear pics of the existing wiring from the dash look, and the wiring coming from the wiper motor itself.

What is confusing about wiper motors is that the wiring is arranged so that there are two power connections to the motor, one for fast and one slow. One uses brushes at 180 degrees to each other, the other speed uses 120 degrees between the brushes.electrics says the 120 degree one is fast as the motor has to spin faster to make its back EMF match the battery.
On mine it sometimes seems the other way round as fast develops less torque ...

The switch wires 12 volts to either the fast or the slow motor connection.

In off position it connects the rotating switch in the motor assembly to drive the wipers fast for a final cycle and then when they reach park the rotating switch shorts the motor to brake it hard.

Wipers that are not parked but with the switch in any position wil be permanently powered and the motor will cook..

Look at the Current Path diagram
as that is clearer than the earlier schematics.

Hi,I think I have a wiring loom to the motor if that helps you ? .I will look for it tomorrow but if I remember correctly it goes from the switch and has a plug to the motor .
