Winter Protection

  1. Just bought my JK camper cover, not fitted it yet, I bought this along with the wayoyl undersealing kit, £135 for the 2

  2. Thanks all, especially for the tips on driving the van :D

Anyone know if it will run ok if I just drop the fuel lines into the carb manifold as the carbs are in for refurb ;)

Half the reason for starting the thread was I cant run it at all over winter if not running it every few weeks is what I would have done.....

Just done the battery disconnect and put the covers on, cant take hand brake off as it parked on road, but will take it off to roll every few weeks and put it back on, you think that'll be enough?

  3. Take the hanbrake of and leave it in gear it wont go anywhere then dude

rickyrooo1 Hanging round like a bad smell

or put it on axle stands and keep all the tyres off the ground, or even just the handbraked wheels off the ground, it won't roll then with the brakes off.

  5.
  6. Im not a fan of car covers because of condensation, a good coat of polish is probably just as good for protection.
How long are your carbs away for? if its only parked up for a few weeks just disconnect the battery and leave the handbrake off and all should be ok.
its always a good idea to open the doors for a while the get keep the interior fresh.
