Winter camper respray.

    I used to do a lot of painting mainly MGBs but when I worked it out the last one I did was 28 years ago so there is a bit of relearning going on.
    Before I put the Windows back in I may just give it one more coat now I can get round it all in one hit.

    I'd never painted anything when I rattle canned the bus. Definitely a learning curve there! Now I can do it ok I've lost interest. To get really good you need to do it full time.

    I like the variety of doing everything though, ultimately specialising in one bit is probably more profitable but then it just becomes a job again.

    So true. I've come to the conclusion it makes a better hobby than a job. I can't be arsed to do other peoples any more.

    Need to repaint the grill, can't decide whether to go white again or body colour?

  9. very impressed with all the hard work. if you have any money left when finished get a propex heatsource best£400 spent ever.

    Me too, they look crappy in a contrasting colour. The "hammerite" look.

    Surprised you've not noticed the big run in the passenger door scoop as well !!

    @Flakey - here you go. I've got matching runs on every corner of the poptop too.
    Who cares, it's shiney, apart from the dry bits. :D
