Had a really good weekend meeting some of TLB, thanks to Rixy for organising it, hope the Pringles didn't spoil your appetite. Nice to meet you Dog, and your chatty friend at the next table. The car show had an excellent varied array of makes and models. The musical entertainment reminded me of the the village fair episode of Father Ted ;D. I realised after a few photos the blurry bit in the middle was on the lens and not on the screen. Journey there was fine but nearly had to get the AA home as Iggle couldn't get it out of reverse when parked on the slope. Luckily I was at hand with my vast mechanical knowledge and reminded him it had a clutch as he wasn't in his auto anymore. Funnily enough as soon as he put his foot on the clutch he could change gear. I don't think I'll let him live that one down for a while... and neither should you. On the way to campsite at Stiffkey Sunday morning before leaving campsite Just as messy in the bus as at home Hug-a-bus-time Joe's bus Inside of Joe's bus wouldn't look out of place in a private jet Waiting to meet up with the others Joe enjoying being in Iggle's bag... I just don't get it MK1 Golf Arriving at windy Hunny Poser much? Splendid pics a great weekend. really thought it was AA home though. No matter what i did i couldn't get it out of reverse. Forgot i had a clutch pedal oooo, the pringle and veggie scotch egg sarnies, lovely stuff
my grandad had a mk2 cortina ... it was pristine - but over the years he got too old to drive it (this was a long time ago now). he sold it to a young guy, who on his second outing in it - wrote it off good pics BTW
Nice pics. Soem lovely looking cars there. I like the old Fords, I reckon they had loads of character. Reminds me of my own Mk1 Escort and then a Mk1 Facelift Capri that I changed from 1600 to a 2l.
