  1. Mentioned this a while back and like most minor things you just don't do it. I thought it was an ill fitting window seal on drivers side but I think it was @zedders said could be anywhere and now I need to sort after a 3 hour drive with whistling window  going to try and adjust doors etc next weekend make sure roof fits snug.
Is putting a smoke bomb pellet inside the van gonna show where leaks are or not. will obviously put in metal container inside bus. is this tuesday_wildchild or :chewie: ??????
Need to sort as above 50mph its annoying us.

  2. Tape the vents up in the front of the door the vents down by the seat bases can do this. Worth a try and its easy.

If you've got door card with the blue slidey vent things, try opening them.
Chip whistles above 50 mph if the vents are closed. I have no idea why & keep forgetting to investigate.
The down side is that Mrs Monkey complains of the cold draught if they're open!
    I bought her a blanket...

  7. Do the smoke and film it. If it doesn't work it'll be a good laugh anyway.

  9. You can hear wind noise over the rattling of the grill pan under the hob, squeaking of the bed hinges, banging of the door that won't stay shut, growling of the engine, grinding of the gears and crackling of the radio that won't quite tune in?
    I'll have what you're having!

  16. I did exactly that last weekend!
And put a small sliding bolt on the 'bedroom' door. Relative peace.

  17. Roof rack will whistle, also the front air grill (taped the flaps up on the inside and that stopped that) anything that suddenly stops rattling or whistling is a worry as it has probably fell of!

Talking of wind, everyone downstairs in the living room heard me when I crashed one down in the bath last night

  19. A chap my old man used to work with had a Rover P4 which had an irritating wind whistle which came from the top of the A pillars.
Owner decided that he was going to silence it and dobbed a big blob of plasticine onto the offending area.
Over the course of his journeys the following month, he gradually altered the shape of the blob until he had completely silenced the airflow.
