In the pub me and me mate decided to take to the Shropshire hills in me van and see how little money we could spend.
Not a good start tracks like a river

Got the farmers permission to pitch up and fish the river

Dog not impressed with weather conditions

Managed to catch enough for two men and a dog
    [IMG]

Managed to trade beer for fish at the pub in the next village, weather picked up as well.

    Complete with Shropshire traffic calming

Arranged to swap crayfish for beer and food plus camping outside the pub next night

Delivered, managed to get a bucket full, enough for 2x baskets of scampi chips and a couple of pints
Then plan came unstuck and we bought a load more beer and whisky

    Pitch outside the pub

Woke up with a hangover but managed to catch a couple more fish to take home, bar the weakness that lead to buying a load of beer it was a success and a good time was had by all.

That pub is well worth a visit and not far from you, its called the Bridges at Rattlinghope, The landlord is a great guy.
We met a farmer called Phil who runs his own music festival based around the pub, its called Farmer Phils Festival of all things!!
