Wide5 Wheels Balancing Adapter Plate

Discussion in 'Non Late Bay Classifieds' started by reezvaan, Nov 11, 2013.

  1. Wide5 wheels adaptor plates that allow you or your shop to balance your wide5 rims.

These are made from 1/4" A36 regular mild steel plate and have M12x1.5mm (for use with Bugs/Trekkers/Ghias) or M14x1.5mm (for use with Splitties/Early Bays) lug nut holes. Come either in Grey Primer or Red Oxide Primer or Matt Black finish.

£45 each posted anywhere in UK. Plz specify what finish would you want one in and if you want M14x1.5mm adaptor or M12x1.5mm adaptor while ordering.

A M14x1.5mm / M12x1.5mm combo adaptor is also available for an additional £10 (£55 for combo adaptor).

  2. Do you make these? if you fancy doing four with the wide five threads tapped to take a wheel bolt and the centres drilled out to late bay PCD i'll have them :p

  3. Yes I do and yes I can do those. you want to make PCD conversion adaptors?

  4. A M14x1.5mm / M12x1.5mm combo adaptor is also available for an additional £10 (so a total of £55 for a M14 / M12 combo adaptor). cheers

  5. From a safety point of view is it ok to paint these parts?

  6. I dont see how it could be unsafe especially when it goes onto the inside of the wheel which then faces towards the balancer. However if you want a bare one, I can do that too. Now do you want a bare one then? :)

  7. No thanks. :)

  8. :D cheers mate

cheese & whiskers, where have you been buying your steel from. A36 mild steel's BS equivalent is BS EN10025 S275JR which is a standard constructional steel.

We paid £65 plus vat for a 2m by 2m plate, 20mm thick from Corus

  10. Ah I see now. They don't actually go on the van. My bad. :D

  11. Yep, exactly this :)
    Whats it gonna cost me?
