Why do i find it hard to be positive?

I dont like to put the light on incase i disturb the girls sleeping

 

As Zed said you need stimulation and a focus point mate,dont think youre to deep for other people they may be deep as well, just try and find out. Youre a clever bloke, i,ve seen some of the stuff you make, you sound intelligent in your posts and when youre replying to others you come across as supportive and focused.
I get the impression youre well liked on here so take that on board as well.Use that as a support.
Maybe you feel the same as me that modern life is Marmite with all its commitments that you dont have much choice about , i,m not talking about frippereis and fancy stuff just day to day living. It gets me down so I think about something else instead which can get out of hand and intense.All a distraction from the grown up stuff.
I hope it doesnt sound like i,m ticking you off mate but i think i know how you feel and its easier to tell other people how to sort it out than it is to apply it to yourself/myself.

I dont get called intelligent often lol

So im getting a gist of its ok to notice all these things but try not to spend time dwelling on them

And get out around people more often

Easier said than done but its always good to have a target to work towards

 

Ah but not everyone knows that they have it in them to make stuff, but you know you can and thats an advantage. I feel i lag behind as a good dad but i,ve got great kids which means i must be doing something right.
Theres not enough good people in the world, i reckon you have every chance of being one of them, as long as you dont want to be noticed then thats fine cos its only the bad,uns that get notoriety. Just stay a good person and be respected and liked by other good people.

I feel if i had more resources available i could do better a lot better but resources need paying for

Its going to be fun trying to do a cv when ive only had the one job since leaving school and my q qualifications from the forces dont excist in civvy street

 

I certainly know where youre coming from regarding resources and the buying of its a real stumbling block.
I wasnt qualified enough to carry on with aircraft when i left either which was a dissapointment but my own fault for not knuckling down ( hey i was a young man )
So if youre putting a cv together what are you applying for?

 

I do similiar stuff when bored or on my todd for a lot or doing something boring, like painting the fence or grinding down welds or drilling out spots . It`s almost as if I invent problems to solve that will likely never happen, or trying to sort out what I would say or how I would react in a threatening type of situation. I`m also a little ocd with some stuff too ;D But aren`t we all little bit`s of every type ???
