I was walking to a butty shop & actually saw a chicken (& rooster) trying to cross a main road in a place called Church in Accrington today. It got half way across then changed its mind, much to everyone's amusement sat watching in the road works traffic. I got a pic on my mobile but only once it had gotten itself back to the grass verge. Two blokes were clucking at it out of their car window?? Don't know if it understood them......it didn't say anything! On the same journey I also spotted a bloke doing some work to a Bedford motorhome with no front wheels on propped up on a piece of 2"x2" timber!!!! When I figure out how to get pics from mobile to tablet I will post them.
I saw a tree standing right by the edge of the road today, it didn't try to cross and I didn't get a picture.
Why did the chicken cross the road? He'd been for a pint and fancied a curry. Why did the dinosaur cross the road? They didn't have chickens in those days.
