Which way round do the brake callipers go- nipples top or bottom?

Can anyone help me?
I am rebuilding my beam and everything got a bit mixed up last night so I am un sure as to which way round the brake callipers go – should the bleed nipples be at the top or bottom – I am assuming at the top as air would rise – but don’t want to build it up and find out I was wrong.
Can anyone help
i have taken photos but i just cant tell

Top so you can get all the air out.

I made the mistake of doing t the other way up and wondered why I could not bleed the brakes!

mine have 2 per calliper too,

if you onlu have one it will have to be at the top for it to work

 

Indeed not all have 2 per calliper I think it's an age thing!

Mine have two too, I assumed the bottom one was good for changing the brake fluid completely so you can get the crud out, then use the top one for bleeding ???

 

They used to have two so the same caliper could be used either side i.e. either way up. Now they're handed so you have to get a left or a right if you need a new one.

 

you can actually bleed them, where ever the bleed nipple is....

Take it off still attached is flexi and turn other way up?! Or submerge wheel and calliper in a bath of brake fluid?!

What's the answer?
