  3. ive got a Cebora Turbo mig had it for years really good, the Snap on ones used to be made by Cebora.

  4. from experiance, Do not buy a cobel welder off ebay. these are supplied by pikies thru ebay,, and dont work.
i have known from 1st hand experiance,
When i drove down to place to change my 1st unit i ended up at a roundabout the other side of cambridge, but luckily when i asked at a farm shop, someome there knew of there address. got a replacement and when i got home it was still faulty.

So in the end i brought a sealey mighty pro 180 amp with a euro torch. this model was on offer at the time with 300 quid off and a free solar welding helmet worth 90 quid.
with a pub co2 gas bottle its brill,

  6. It depends on what you are going to do with it and how much you wanna spend. Snap on stuff is over rated and over priced even second hand!

  7. Go for the Clarke 160 TM as stated in pevious thread, I've had one for about 5 years, and I used it to fabricated steel gates and railings, thin sheet would be a breeze for this thing, mines never let me down !

  8. Stay clear of gasless welders. 130amp is plenty powerful enough with 0.6mm wire for vehicles. Clarkes are ok but Telwin, Kempi and Miller are better. Depends how often you plan to use it and how much you want to spend.

This is advice from him in doors - welder by day, superhero by night.
