In my Fiat Coupe I have a Fiat radio with a CD changer in the boot. Except I only have the frame and no changer :(.

As we’ve sold the T4 and are planning to go to Spain in the Fiat I want a CD/radio in the car.

I also want Bluetooth hands free, and a USB port to charge my phone. As I only listen to radio 2, 4 and occasionally 5 & 6 I’m not bothered with DAB but suppose it would be good to have a DAB enabled one for in the future.

    Any recommendations please. :)

Ps I don’t want one of those massive screen ones

  2. Can't you just sing? Much cheaper. Charge your phone by rubbing your thighs together. Works for me!

For fifteen quid or less, you could swap it over for one of those retro radios that were featured here in discussion a couple of months back. Then put the original back if you ever sell this Fiat. No CDs though but you could transfer them all over onto some tiny devices that you probs already got like your phone etc,

Ozziedog,,,,,,,,, tis not black magic, or milk tray even :)

Will check when I get back home tonight but I may have one in the garage you can have. You'll probably just need to buy a connector to match your car.

  5. I've got a 6 disc CD changer that I've never used in the back of my car.

You can have it if you want. We would have to check it works/fits yours.

PS I've found your buslife postcard and will bring to Techenders.

I just use a Sony MEX2900BT that was £100 in Halfords a few years back.CD, Bluetooth, FM AM USB / MP3 / charger. Builtin or external handsfree mike .. can make hands-free calls at under 40mph and argue with Google voice recognition.

AUNA RMD-Sender-One - Car radio, Car hi-fi set, Bluetooth interface, USB slot, SD/MMC slot, FM radio tuner, MP3, 3.5mm jack AUX input, Stereo-Cinch Line Outlet, Hands-free system, Black https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B01H3DRF5Y/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_8JJEDbYSVGV1H

Got one of these on eBay for about £60 a few years back. Works well, handsfree phone via Bluetooth, USB for your stick with tracks, plays music from your phone via Bluetooth, charges phone via USB, Aux jack for other players, CDs etc. etc.
They also appear under different brands.
The recent thread mentioned appears to show the same or similar unit for a lot less!
