  1. We're almost in a position to buy our first van. It feels like it's been a long time coming, but I think we're finally days away from completing a house sale and having the funds! Besides the classifieds section on here (which I check daily), where else is good to find them? (LIST UPDATED)

  4. The advice I've had so far on here has been brilliant, and is one of the reasons it's the place I check & trust ahead of any other

  5. Check your local papers and classifieds and ask about in the pub and post office, you may be one of the lucky few that find an old boy in your village that has had one hidden for the last 20 yrs and now wants rid.

  10. If you don't mind LHD let me know what you're after and I'll sort it for you.

I currently have one left. In not making any great efforts to sell it as I secretly want to keep it

  13. We bought our Aussie import van Anni from SW Splitz, probably not the cheapest route but as a long term purchase we wanted certainty as to what we started with. Shaun is a great guy and very helpful getting what we wanted both in terms of spec, what we wanted him to do and what was left for me to finish myself. The web-site is not up to date but worth giving them a serious look http://www.southwestsplitz.co.uk/index.php

  14. Great stuff guys! I'll keep adding any new ones to the first post so they're all neatly in one place :)

As for my own purchase, I'll wait until I've actually got the funds in place before I start being more specific - I think we know what we want and roughly how much we'll have to spend, but it's been a long time coming and I don't want to jinx it at this stage!

  17. Very true about the regular question of vans and how to get a decent one, i'm after one too, i've got no transport now though so that's me somewhat stuffed. I'd seen an orange one in Luton and a yellow one in Southsea for sale too. Pants!
