  4. Nicely built motor that one...only minor nit pick was the fan housing rhs hot air output pipe had been adapted to avoid fouling the carb linkage.

  5. I have, Sir, dangling from my spare wheel well. I’ll try and find a pic. Even the small one is mighty clunky, so if you don’t need another filter I’d go for the PetrolKing(?) regulator only.

  6. These are words I’ve heard before but that’s about it. I think that may be what @mikedjames is going to look at at September techenders?

  7. Too late, ive had the bucket sized thing a while just need to fit it !!

  8. I was watching when Mike pulled off the air hose thinking it was a 2 minute job (both of us) to make it fit better. We both commented that the inlet had been adapted to avoid it fouling on the CSP linkage. The fan shroud needs some work, perhaps @mikedjames has a better idea?

Back on topic. I will look out that aftermarket fan housing and see if it has any difference in the heater hose outlets..

  13. Not certain any of the aftermarket shrouds would have thermostat flaps, having said that, it would be criminal if a CSP's own housing fouled their own linkage, assuming Mike's is CSP, of course?

I was more interested in seeing if the air hose outlet design was different on this Made in Taiwan fanhousing.
I do know this after market fan housing has at least the guide vanes inside.

I think though that in the same situation I would redesign the air hose feeds with an angle grinder and some tack welds to alter the angle .. they point straight through Lisa's carb linkage.

  18. Spare wheel side looks popular. That's where mine is :)
Anyone else run a plastic filter between the tank and the malpassi? Cheaper to replace and catches the tank crud

  20. I’ve got a stock plastic filter under the tank. The Malpassi’s redundant, really.
