Close to the exhaust ports, on the rear, if I recall correctly. Someone is bound to be along in a sec with a link to a diagram.
I have a stainless non standard exhaust fitted, i wonder if that would prevent these air deflectors from being fitted?.
Wouldn't think so, unless you've got whopping great pipes from #2 and 4 cylinders. Have a squint under the van. They may be there.
They might foul an exhaust with larger flanges on the head. They do tend to vibrate off and vanish.. The trick to fitting is to take off the rear apron : one of the two screws which fix each attaches through a hidden hole in the cylinder head tins. The other screw is visible with the rear apron fitted. One of the two on the right is also shared with the "stove pipe" pulling up hot air.
Thanks Mike, i'll have another look when i can. I did spot a hole for a tinware screw doing nothing on the n/s tinware . If they were fitted when i bought the van, they would have been left off by the garage that fitted the stainless exhaust. Standard sized flanges. I'll take a few shots of the areas you've described. This is the exhaust i have fitted.
Still can't really tell if i've got the air deflector plates fitted (see first post) so i've added a few more pics. Under rear corners and in engine bay. Can anyone tell i i have them fitted?.
