This might sound daft - but us there a technique to fitting the standard flat wheel trims?

I've got some new stainless steel ones - but for the life of me can't get them to fit. I can see the three lugs on the wheel - do you hitch the trim over two, and force it over the third or what?

Hacking me off now as I've dented one already.... :(

no mate there is nothing just brute force, no clips hold them on, to get them off there is a pulling tool but i don't have one i used a screwdriver but they are on tight so maybe your paint is thick?

Just line them up with all 3 hub clips and bang them on. Doesn't sound like you're missing any parts.

Cool - thank you both - you know how it is - try it, then hit it, then hit it harder, then hit it with something, then hit it with something bigger, then hit it hard with something bigger, then hit it so hard you hurt yourself, then hit it and damage it.

Then think - am I missing something simple?

Then come and ask on here!!

  7. when I had mine re-furbed, they did require a little more persuding to get them on. line up all 3 then bang.
