so after a light drinking weekend I came home from techenders and realised I'd replaced both my rear wheel bearings and noticed a slight squeak from the offside !! Went in it today ok until it warms up and then it got bit worse ... Panic sets in ..... Jacked up the rear seen this cv boot again for the 3rd time i only replaced it at techenders (only thing I can think of is jub clip is no good ?) but everything else is all right and ok (walked away feeling shocked) Quick wiggle on the front and a spin there's the issue (thank god) bloody front wheel bearings loose and grumbling!! But the cv gotta get a clip for to try it any ideas or am I not tightening it enough ?
I find it odd that they should twist at all. Clip, cable tie or nothing, they should rotate at the same rate as the cv joint and drive shaft. It suggests one part turning at a different rate than the other. Very strange!
Just looked at the photo and I think I got it the bit sticking out looks like it's rubbing on frame over massive bumps see the line
Its not me under a van pic you're searching for, you're coveting a "Bob under Zed's van" picture. A bit like these but the other way round.
