It's funny (in a non-funny kind of way). Some people on here want to come across as "nice" but out themselves as to what they're really like with throw away comments. Sad really.
if this refers to the thread where birdy got slated about a throwaway comment about Amy, people need to remember that if they have NEVER said anything in a cruel or silly way then fair enough - they can judge, but even if you have laughed at a joke about death or riots (topical) then you are as bad to a degree, text on the internet has no expression as i've found out, some people like you some don't - same as in real life, i "got" what Birdy was trying to do last night - hell i even replied to the thread to deviate (in my opinion) from the topic but there was a couple of people who took offence and it was sad to see, this site 99% of the time runs fine and we all act grown up to a degree......but sometimes people conflict and get offended - this is just life, it isn't all fluffy kittens. i didn't pay attention in school but summat in r.e. said don't judge people less you be judged...... Sorry if i offend in what i say - but to be honest if you have to keep saying sorry for fear of upsetting people, especially if it wasn't personal then it's a bit sad .
It could be said though that "if you have to keep saying sorry for fear of upsetting people" you're probably upsetting people; which surely cant be a good thing...
Prehaps we should have a section where you can post anything goes and if your easily offended, like some seem to be they don't have to look there.. Why is people like getting on their soap box about somebody's tounge in cheek comments. But then it adds excitement to some posting.
I find it strange that bluebell has left because of the winehouse joke when he/she has a joke in his/her sig regarding thousands of inocent dead Japanese people
I think some comments got taken far too personally last night & there was no need for the comments in return to be as hostile as they where either. Calling everyone c***s in every other sentence was not called for, we are better than all of that, aren't we?
in my opinion people need to lighten up if you dont like the thread dont read it, there is no need to spit the dummy all the time, this is a fun forum with many different characters. I dont believe its right to have to watch every word we say, as said before its a public forum...there are plenty of other dub forums with a more serious approach, I visit some for that sort of entertainment I come here for a laugh and a joke.
