I like a good scrap yard. It’s all about the ‘toys’, after all...

    What!! My first ever vehicle!!
Haven’t seen one in years. Went like stink, outran any other 50 and some bigger too. 7.2bhp if I recall.
Exhaust was always coking up tho’, I was forever taking the baffle out and cleaning it.

If the registration is OPJ745R ( I think) it’s my old one!
Not convinced those bars are original though...?

Over one fence there’s a 2003 Porsche 911, a 2005 Renault Clio Sport and some bland middle-aged Merc - CLK maybe? Hatchback thingie.
The guy is an ex pro footballer apparently so I don’t need to say any more (clearly not that successful) and the Merc is his lodger I think. She’s cute
He idles the Porsche for ages and makes the bloody windows vibrate it’s so loud.

I've got a few old bikes from the 70's and fancy a Fizzy. The last one I looked at was at auction and I bid up to 2500, nowhere near I'm afraid!!

Fantic did a 50cc chopper too. You want one, they are anything from 7k to 11 k for a really good one.A mate of mine bought one in boxes off of eBay for 4K.

Over our fence are boring suburban cars. I’m sure it would be far more interesting for my neighbours looking over at my drive :D

The sister bike to the GT was the Caballero. Bit more off-road. Used to take the GT out on forest tracks too. That bike took some abuse.
Only been on one motorbike in the last few decades, and that was pillion on a zx1200 at a speed that I can’t reveal and only wanted to experience once on a bike. In fact that experience fulfilled my desire for a last ride on one at any speed. Four wheels for me.
As with most things in life, I’ve slowed down with age.

Good stuff. Enjoy. It’s just not for me personally. I’ll stick to watching Moto GP for vicarious motorcycle thrills!

My neighbours (three adults, 8 kids) did have a non moving Ford Galaxy full of scrap metal and general rubbish, surrounded by a couple of old sofas and a collection of abandoned kids bikes. They seemed to have a bit of a clear up over Christmas.... which has obviously worked as I noticed today the For Sale sign has now changed to Sold - and the Galaxy has gone, to be replaced by an equally immobile VW Tiguan. I’ll miss them though, they’ve been really nice neighbours and the kids liven the place up :(
