Is this the “I’ve got a Vernier Caliper and I’m Not Afraid To Use It” thread?

  8. UNC or UNF? Measure your thread pitch, para. How many threads per inch? Tables are on the interweb. OD of major diameter and tpi.

  13. How old’s the daily? Strange that it’s a Unified thread. We stopped using them in the 70s.

  14. Kays will sell you Unified nylocks

  15. Except feckin battery terminals, 3/8 Whitworth. I ask you, in this day and age?

Or another recent gem, VDO oil pressure sender 3/8 NPT, suppose the taper is useful but....

  16. The oil pressure sender is an M10 x 1 metric keg taper thread.

  17. They are still used where an imperial particularly a fine thread is more appropriate often with a metric AF head.

  18. 2002 and it’s Japanese

These dampers are not original Suzuki
There monroe and made in Poland but it’s still strange they have used an imperial thread

I’m just glad I checked everything was there before I cut the old ones off the car.

  19. Certainly tapers, is the keg version a finer M10? None of my stash of M10 fitted
