Fitted the new bracket for the air filter, opened up the top and vents in the canvas and left the side door open whilst there was a nice breeze about. All wrapped back up this afternoon before the rain got here. Oh yea, found the fuel filter was already fitted outside the engine bay But looks like a petrol hose clamp is missing on one of the fuel pump hoses
Looked at it through the shed window thinking, can I be arsed after a few beers last night I need to get a wiggle on though as I want it on the road by Volksworld
i really need to go and do some work on mine, last week it was snowed off as it's in store and yesterday i went out, today i'm too tired..... looks like i'll need to do an epic weekend next weekend then - today has the makings of an epic "sit in your pants day"
trying to trim some cushions myself --- didnt realise it was so damn hard. Then fitting a farad capacitor for the stereo system.
Tidying up the rear light housings and painting them in silver paint with reflective paint layed over the top
Painted the fiberglass pop top bit. Painted the indicator / wiper housing and made the screws that, I guess I lost, that holds the whole assembly all together :
Added a temp sender to the oil line, making a deliberate mistake as pictured so it doesn't actually work. The more pipes and wires in your engine bay the better your bus is. Never been one for the clean sparse look myself. ;D On the other hand I'm not looking forward to getting the leisure battery out next time I have to.
When you want the battery out, I would cut through the rear corner It will be quicker in the end ;D ;D
I'm suddenly beginning to think if I'm actually mental. I made a 1/34 scale interior of mine to fit in my Minichamps replica.
Only popped the roof and gave it a airing, going to start using it as my daily soon once i have serviced it
Cleared out the cupboards...all the foodstuffs containing liquid have now defrosted and luckily no breakages or mess. The olive oil looks strange, I'll keep it and see if turns back into a liquid when it's warm.
