What DLSR camera to buy?

  1. Good choice. That price was a steal too.

    I went out and got a 70/300 lens just before Christmas well impressed with it.
    I've just bought a telescope too where the camera fits to the rear, just need to learn to use it now. Havnt been out yet with it weather been too rubbish.

    I got it cheaper than the BigNorman bundle price by splitting between them and Amazon.
    Even at their bundle price you would save hundreds off the highstreet price.
  3. I have a Nikon D5100 and just been taking aurora photos in Norway, will post them up when I get back.

    Easy to use and better photos with low iso setting than its canon rivals from what I saw last night! lots of fun!

    We have been in Tromso but sadly flying back tomorrow, really good trip.

    For photographing the northern lights used Iso 400 and 800, biggest appeture possible and 15 & 25 second exposures. I bought a great light weight cullmann tripod which made all the difference.
