Sat here watching someone else freezing their bits off washing my car. .. I was going to it myself honest...but the hosepipe had frozen up ..honest .. I do normally wash it myself buy every now and again I do use our foreign friends .. They do a good job as well...
Cover up the air intakes when you get there.....a lot of spray will go through them otherwise! (remove them before driving off)
Yup makes me larf how people pay to go to a gym, But are too lazy to wash their car out in the fresh air..
I do normally as I am quite precious about my car , but sometimes ...just sometimes I really can't be bothered and today was one of them...a and I do suspect the hose would have been frozen solid anyway
Always wash mine and HRs (which I might forget now ). My first weekend job as a lad was working in my mates dads car wash , it had a couple of pipes running in carport type roof with holes in one with soapy water running thru the end one just cold water rinse , then we had two towels stitched together one each side then drag up over bonnet and roof then boot then we all Cham eeeed off after wiping door shuts ,. Polish was extra good tips thou , we got 11 bob for a sat n 12 and six for a Sunday morn plus tips . Ray King used to bring his roller down n gave us a fiver tip ta share ,he owned big night club where the three degrees jimmy jones etc used to appear. Luv cleaning and polishing dunno why don’t get paid now
My wife traded her car in last year , we reckon it had been washed probably 3 times in the 3 years she had it, never ever cleaned the inside...a proper Marmite tip...anyway I cleaned it just before it went in...it was mint! I guess the lack of cleaning had prevented any scratching and swirling...
Never underestimate that protective layer of filth I wash my van by hand, but who ever washes their daily driver? It's not normal.
I do.. Its white and used for work so have to keep it clean really... As for the van...I give it wipe with white spirit every now and again
