Not cold or actually peeing with rain...

Took the engine out, replaced the oil cooler seals. Under a tarp tent in the drizzle with a plasterers light.

Found that not only had i stupidly used an EMPI brand oil cooler adaptor last time which looked rough when I fitted it, ( wtf does any parts provider sell this chinese junk at any price. ) but also one of the fiixing nuts was loose.

Put back the original vw adaptor with new seals.

Then took the flywheel off took off the crankshaft oil seal and the seal on the flywheel . Then found I had lost the new flywheel seal. Fitted the crankshaft seal.

Panicked decided to bodge the old one back. Got the flywheel and clutch back on then found the seal in a JK paper bag. Took it apart again and did it properly. Finished at half past 5 dark outside.
Now I am knackered. But hopefully no bad oil leaks.

Glad that's over and done with for another year, it's a P.I.T.A.

Takes about 10 minutes to be ready to cook - I guess about 20 minutes cooking time.
First time I've used it - impressed with the fact that it stays cool on the outside so you can put it anywhere to cook.
